Muse Salon Partners with Green Circle Salons to Revolutionize Beauty Industry’s Environmental Impact

Every day, hair salons across Canada and the United States landfill over 400,000 lbs of waste, including hair clippings, color tubes, foil, and plastics. In a groundbreaking move, Muse Salon is partnering with Green Circle Salons to lead the beauty industry in implementing an eco-friendly and sustainable program that significantly reduces the environmental impact of salon services.

As part of this partnership, Muse Salon will introduce a comprehensive recycling and sustainability program that repurposes waste materials using innovative green solutions, redirecting what was once considered trash out of our water streams and landfills. Starting April 1st, 2023, up to 95% of the waste created by salon services will be recovered by Green Circle Salons and given a new life!

Muse Salon and Green Circle Salons recognize that our clients demand sustainable business practices from the establishments they visit. With this in mind, Muse Salon and all of its salon, spa, and hairstylist professionals adopt the Green Circle Salons program to further reduce environmental impact. Customers who choose Muse Salon now have the added peace of mind that they are taking meaningful steps towards keeping our environment healthy.

In line with our commitment to reducing environmental impact, Muse Salon will also introduce a $3 eco charge for all services starting April 1st, 2023.
